The pictures are real. The people are real. The captions are (for the most part) real...

Make NO mistakes: The people depicted in this first in a series of upcoming videos are the ebodiment of PURE EVIL. Theydo nothing other than sit and plot at ways in which they can profit. If they can profit at no one's expense, so much the better. If someone else has to pay for them to profit, who cares? (Certainly NOT the "state" of texas, as that's been proven.) If someone has to DIE in order for them to profit, so be it!

Welcome to Sham(e)rock, texas...

My favorite sight in the thing is the former courthouse leader (the district attorney) being led away in chains. He looks so very much at home in thise chains...

Have you folks ever seen the video of the two guys who actually yanked an air conditioning unit (swamp cooler, as hey call them) from the wall of our 1/4" steel-walled transmitter shack, climbed in and then - when I confronted them with a video camera - ADMITTED "that man down there in the city office told us that we could come and get a transmitter out of here and he would pay us enough for us to buy some beer to come and get it for him."? It's a HOOT! I also thought it would be a "slam-dunk" for an ARREST but, we soon found out that catching a band of thieves in the act (when they're hired by city-hall) does NOT mean they've done something wrong at all. Not even when they've yanked out an air conditioner, climbed i through the resulting hole in the wall and CONFESS to being hired by a city manager to STEAL!!! (What the CURRENT D.A. is actually saying is: "I can't see these guys stealing because my boyfriend, whom I *know* to be a liar and a thief, would be implicated and I am NOT going to arrest him, too! Now, go away and let them steal from you again."

That video is here:

Well. You know GD well I've seen it. Abso-Frickin-Lutely hillarious (in a sad sort of way). I'm sure Marc will get a kick out of it too. Two drunken hillbillies mistaking an AC unit for a transmitter... gee, who wudda thunk it?  Grin

Oh no. They didn't mistake the AC unit for the transmitter. They RIPPED OUT the AC unit in order to GET TO the transmitter... They had a fairly accurate description of the transmitter that was wriiten out ON "CITY OF SHAMROCK" LETTERHEAD!!!

Of course, again, it was  determined that there was no wrongdoing at all and they "were just looking around"...

That's what you get when criminals run your local courthouses and the "state" in which you're located profits from it. (As they've told me SECERAL TIMES now: "Our job is NOT to seek justice. We are here to seek CONVICTIONS." Which leads me to ask the most obvious question: "Then why not sek convictions when it's your own people caught in criminal acts?")

You see, I was stupid enough to believe that the FCC (or ANY other federal agency) CARED!!! Stupid me...

This is not intended to offend anyone. If it does, I apologize. But, since we've taken this all the way to "governor" Rick Perry's office (AFTER having their own state Supreme Court determine that thus was UNCONSTITUTIONAL, and he DOES NOT CARE and CANNOT SEE ANYTHING WRONG, we now refer to texas as "The Bendover state". Meaning that there should be signs at all borders reading:

"Welcome to texas! Bend over so that we may enjoy your visit!"

By the way, don't worry that any of those goons can say (or do) anything about these posts or videos. Their WASTING of many thousands of taxpayer dollars in attempting to quiet the spread of this (true) story is one of the things that was ruled to be "UNCONSTITUTIONAL"...

Unbelievable. I won't trust anyone from TEXASS.

Marc, please don't feel this wayabout ALL texans because it's not like that all through the entire state. I'll tell you in about a second flat that some of the best people I've ever met in my life are from (and still are in) texas. The problem is that, in some of the more remote areas (Shamrock is one), they practice a thing they refer to as "frontier justice" that goes back to the days of "cattle russlin'" and such non-sense in which a person can literally be SHOT if a farmer even thinks the person MIGHT BE THINKING about stealing a cow.

The OTHER problem is that the corruption in that particular area runs so deep that even the good church people participate and MAY NOT EVEN KNOW THEY'RE DOING IT!!!

I spent six long years listening to stories about how "that district attorney sells drugs out of the courthouse and even tries to get little girls to undress and make nasty videos for him but he sure does get a LOT OF DRUGS OFF OF THE INTERSTATE!" (It turns out that he was so good at getting the drugs off of the interstate so that he could "check them out of the evidence lockers" and USE OR SELL THEM OUT OF THE COURTHOUSE. But, "the people" of the area - even today - are too "friendly" or "good old boy based" to realize this. He was also ELIMINATING COMPETITION FOR DRUG SALES.) There are even people there who feel that the streets were safer because (illicit) drugs are only available for purchase at the courthouse.

"The people" also do not EVER get the full story and, since they "grew up with that boy" never bother to dig into the facts, either. If you will google the name "Richard James Roach", you will see VERY FEW stories about his arrest and conviction (actually he pled guilty to a set of SERIOUSLY REDUCED CHARGES in that the child porn and several other charges "disappeared" in exchange for a guilty plea for the drug and firearms violations). Almost ALL texas-based news agencies removed the information on his crimes as soon as the story began to cool-off even slightly. (This story even garnered a HALF-PAGE SPOT in the New York Times as well as in newspapers as far away as London!) They claim to have done this in order to "avoid further embarrassment to the 'great' state of texas." I say: They've EARNED IT!!! EMBARRASS THEM!!! Maybe, if they get embarrassed enough, they'll develop the balls to take a stand AGAINST such crime and corruption instead of quietly looking the other way so they don't have to be "embarrassed".

It's sad for me to say this but, all I've seen from the government of texas is a cowardly fear of embarrassment because they are too stupid to take responsibility for the acts of their own people - whom they  will freely admit ARE LIARS, CROOKS AND THIEVES. But, when asked to correct their "mistakes" (crimes they will admit occured but also cover-up), they will quickly tell you "No! That would mean we have to admit something went wrong and we don't do that."

What this means is that PARTS of texas operate much like a communist country in which no one is willing to step forward (even though they KNOW they should) "because we have to live here". THEY ARE AFRAID FOR THEIR LIVES...

Now, this is NOT the entire state. Only certain small and secluded areas. A vast majority of the state is a wonderful and friendly place. But, no one is willing to take any actions against the crooks in places such as Shamrock because "them folks ain't never bothered me before". (Look the other way and it doesn't embarrass this "great" state.)

What I think is funny is that a few criminals in places such as Shamrock can actually make MILLIONS of otherwise wonderful people look like just so many uncivilized hillbillie lunatics.

The truly GOOD people of texas actually HELP to embarrass the "great" state of texas by NOT taking action against the goons that they strive so valiantly to hide from the view of the rest of the world because, by doing nothing, they allow such behavior to continue and the stories cannot always be "hushed" as they tried to do in my case.

I have been told (by more than one law firm) that the "great" state of texas has spent well over $300,000.00 in trying to prove that I stole $2,225.00 from a business that I owned and posessed a clear title to that was approved by the federal government (which the "great" state of texas claims to NOT recognize). If the remaining GOOD texans see nothing wrong with this then, I guess the crimes will continue and I have promised them MUCH MORE than $300,000.00 worth of BAD PUBLICITY and I intend to deliver on it unless and until I see some form of change. THEY WILL GET THEIR EMBARRASSMENT.

But, by all means, not ALL texans are "bad". They just don't seem to care what the crooks do as long as they are doing it to "someone else". And, they certainly don't stand up for anyone other than themselves. (Mostly, I suspect that this is because they'd be taking a stand against "uncle Jim's second cousin on mamma's side twice removed" or some such excuse.)

*I* trust you. It is people from SHAMROCK CITY AND COUNTY GOVERNMENT that CANNOT be trusted.

I believe Marc will realize that it is not ALL texans that he cannot trust. I just hope that no one is offended and I'm sure that most people in texas are about as proud of hosting Shamrock as Germany is currently proud (this is sarcasm!) of claiming to claim Adolph Hitler.

We've al had our share of laughs at the crooks in "Shamerock". Here is a work of art that probably should be expanded into a TV series similar to "My Name Is Earl":

>>I believe Marc will realize that it is not ALL texans that he cannot trust. I just hope that no one is offended<<

I believe that Marc will never realize anything. After all, he won't talk to me anymore because his mommy told him not to-- because according to her, I'm an evil person, a drunken loser, and a bad influence on mommy's big baby. (Here's a hint for you, Marc: Don't give your debit card and all the passwords to your internet accounts to a crazy bitch who only wants to hold you down and control every aspect of your life. Stay true to your dreams, and realize who your real friends are).

What he won't admit, or has yet to admit, is that she is vehemently opposed to him having any friends at all. Furthermore, she apparently has some magical ability to monitor his internet and telephone activity even though he doesn't even live with her anymore. (Since when did the crackhead crazy-woman become an IT engineer and hacker)?

On a separate note:

Just for the record, I have absolutely nothing against Texas or the people who live there. Here in Connecticut, there are lots of towns and areas where people have their heads so far up their ass I avoid these places entirely. Keith is a good man and he is not trying to insult Texans in general at all. But try having your family held at gunpoint and basically your life's savings taken away from you, not to mention your freedom, and maybe your choice of words would become somewhat inflammatory as well. I know mine would.

It was a rainy Sunday morning in September 1980 and two of us DJs from KINL in Eagle Pass hit the highway to visit a girl we met the summer before that lived near Lubbock.  When we reached Big Lake, Texas where 1290 KWGH received a visit from us.  I was offered a job as General Manager.  Wow!  With 3 years in the biz, it seemed like a wonderful entry on the resume.

Once I got there, my hair was cut short by order from the guy training me and a mobile home had been lined up for me to live in.  Within a month I was on my own.  I learned the lady that had owned the station had become senile and her family sold the station to a man from California who happened to be Jewish (that stuff mattered in Big Lake).  He had come to town saying he was an FCC field examiner when he talked to movers and shakers (he lied to them and they knew it).  For several months his son's friend had been trying to get local advertising but was having a tough time because the old lady gave away commercials to anybody local that wanted them.

Big Lake was a wild place.  The oil boom was booming.  You could get a woman for the night or any drug you desired.  The locals, reasonably, hated outsiders because of the stereotype of all of us being druggies.  The Hispanic and Black population lived on the side of town without water, sewage, cable TV and paved streets.  Toward the end, one 'oil patch' worker I knew came to me, as the media voice, with evidence of some government officials dealing drugs.  I advised him to keep his mouth shut and get out of town.  I got a call in Eagle Pass a few months later that he had been found dead at a highway reststop a few miles out of Big Lake.  Never learned if that was true but my source seemed reliable.

Shortly after I got there, eager to air PSAs, I received a press release for a non-profit fundraiser on the next Saturday.  Within the hour was another PSA for another non-profit holding a fundraiser the same night.  I started talking both the events up on the air.  Then the District Attorney called to tell me to take one of them off the air.  I asked why and was told he would tell me in his office.  I demanded to know the reason over the phone.  He said for me to do what I was told.  When I balked, he told me "You don't know who you're messin' with boy".  A few minutes later the County Judge said I was to be in his office as soon as I could be there.  I was abruptly told he had put the DA through school and personally trained him and I had better shape up and do what he said.  I should have kept my mouth shut, but I told him he wasn't the FCC and didn't sign my paycheck.  Several advertisers cancelled.  A few days later, when paying rent in cash, was promised a receipt in a little while.  The next day I was served eviction papers.  Transmitter lines were cut.  Electric box bashed in.  Before I moved out, the Police Chief called me saying my landlord found lots of pot in my house.  The Chief was not from there and he flushed it and came back in the room and said he didn't find any pot.  Death threats.  I was so scared I called my Dad daily to say I was still alive.

All of this started because two females who had been rivals since school had decided to spite the other by holding the fundraiser for the organization she chaired on the same night as the charity her rival chaired.

I lasted 10 months before getting out of Big Lake and still would prefer drive out of my way than to drive through the town. I

KWGH signed off not long after that.  One guy bought it and lasted a few years (likely until his family grew up and left home)

I even learned to keep my mouth shut!

So, can you believe the Shamrock, Texas story?  You bet.  I had it easy.  I was single with no financial investment.  Mine was a fire ant bite compared to a killer bee attack.  Sadly, the people who could change a place for the better realize the price they'd pay is too high and 'just going with the flow' is much easier.  At the State and Federal level, they seem too busy to care or they're not sure how to proceed.  The bad guys in charge stay there because there is no opposition.  Luckily, not all small towns work this way but I've seen a good number of towns and counties that do.

And for you folks ready to condemn Texas as all backward hillbillies gone crazy with guns, I'm still a Texan and I don't even have a pair of cowboy boots, y'all.

And yes, I listened to the station driving through Shamrock a couple of time with the nice downtown office.  It was so nice to hear anything that was not satellite.

Luckily that's long ago and far away.  If I was asked if I could, would I live my life over again if I couldn't change anything, this short chapter in my life would make me question if I could answer yes.

Thanks Bill, for sharing your great story, allot of people living in the land of Oz's think Keith's case is an isolated incident, or he did something wrong to make it happen. You just add to Keith's credibility and remind people, not only is he telling you the way it happened; but it could happen to anybody and there is little you can do about it.

Taft, California is no different than Shamrock; in fact I think they are sister cities! The community leaders are of the same mindset. Little men who enjoy being the Big Frogs in the little pond eating the guppies.

I posted this on Radio Idiots community radio board, which was also censored.
Quote
Part 15 AM station comes in third in ratings; while not every Part 15 AM station can enjoy the numbers, it proves in the right market and programming it can be done.

See the ratings results on the top of our part 15 AM page here: www.radiobrandy.com/RBpart15am.html
Now the trick is to find the right market to build your radio station in; some communities are outright hostile to the ideal of having an outsider bring in a new radio station they have no control over. Most of the communities in the Southwest are controlled by various religious cults, and the good old boys behind them often resort to extreme means to keep you out of their communities. Do your research before jumping in and wasting allot of time, money or your freedom as one broadcaster experienced.

I posted that thinking of Keith's experience with Shamrock; It applies to anybody thinking of starting or buying a radio station regardless of power. Believe or not, sadly Keith's experience is not unique. I have had plenty relate similar experiences to Bill's and Keith's
