July 28, 2007 -- Look carefully at the equipment in the photo that is posted above. The item (outlined in RED) is a studio to transmitter link receiver (STL). The actual item in the picture was stolen from the KBKH-FM transmitter building during April of 2007.
It is EASILY identified by the internal and external modifications made to it. These modifications were necessary so that the receiver could be used in a manner that is consistent with our operations that are much more stringent than those encountered or even attempted in other locations.
We can even go so far as to tell you that this STL receiver was carried into and is being retained in a local area.
Despite all of this, according to the testimony of Chief Deputy Rick Walden, "there ain't no investigation into that missing equipment." Therefore, we are launching our own investigation and the equipment will be GIVEN to the person in whose possession it happens to be in trade for testimony and affidavits...
